A comfortable and peaceful stay with convenient amenities like central heating, an iron, and tea and coffee making facilities made my experience very pleasant.

Enjoyed this place, it was quaint and stunningly beautiful. The double room I got was included with fantastic views, a garden and balcony. The location was lovely high on a hill. My stay was REALLY LOVELY here.

The room was clean, with a view overlooking the garden. the location was magnificent for exploring Sainte-Genevieve-les-Gasny, close to Monet's garden in Giverny, restaurants, the Claude Monet house in Giverny, and La Roche-Guyon.

Everything was simply perfect with a great choice for sightseeing, a peaceful hilltop location, and lots of fun to be had.

our stay at la citadelle in sainte-genevieve-les-gasny was absolutely wonderful. the owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. the breakfasts were delicious and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. we loved the artistic decor and the peaceful location.

The room at La Citadelle had a cozy and homely feel to it, making me instantly feel comfortable and relaxed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Having a patio in the room was wonderful, as I could sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The balcony offered a great view, allowing me to take in the beautiful surroundings. The desk in the room was a convenient feature, making it easy for me to catch up on work.

Personally, I found the tile/marble floor a bit cold underfoot, but some may enjoy the refreshing coolness.

Great location, close to Monet's garden at Giverny and other worthwhile attractions. Tastefully decorated and comfortable house with a welcoming and generous host. Pleasant continental breakfast with a good selection of food. Lovely view over the valley, especially from the Birds Room. Friendly and accommodating atmosphere.

Felt like being at home, no complaints.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the fabulous view from my bedroom balcony. It overlooked the charming village and the beautiful valley, providing a picturesque sight to wake up to every morning. Another aspect I appreciated was the lovely continental breakfast served in the host's living room. It was a delightful experience sharing the table with other guests and enjoying fresh bread, croissants, and delicious homemade marmalade. The friendly and attentive host added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.

The bathroom was not en suite. Although it was private for me, it required a short step across a small passageway.

Tastefully furnished, well-equipped room with comfy bed and beautiful river valley view. Friendly hostess and attention to our dog. Lovely garden. Great continental breakfast, enjoyed on terrace/balcony if weather permits. Easy to find by car. Highly recommend, very satisfied.

The room I stayed in had a charming garden view, and it felt like I was waking up to nature's embrace every morning. I loved how each room had a patio, where I could sit and enjoy the fresh air while sipping on my morning coffee. The studio had a cozy feel to it, with a lovely stovetop where I could prepare my own meals and a desk to work on.

Personally, I would have preferred a room with a balcony instead of a patio. But hey, that's just my preference!

We had a lovely romantic escape in the countryside with breathtaking views. the breakfast spread was delicious with fresh croissants, baguettes, and a beautiful view to enjoy. the room was comfortable and clean, with a nice sized bed. We also appreciated the kitchenette for preparing small meals. a perfect spot for a romantic getaway!

this small inconvenience was easily overlooked compared to the overall wonderful experience we had at this beautiful location.
